Spektrum Firmware Update

Download the Spektrum Smartlink App HERE. This is a ZIP file, so you'll need to unzip it.

• 1) Double-click the file to unzip it.
• 2) Scroll down in the list and click Spektrum USB Link, click Extract All, and then click Extract again.
• 3) Now click the file "Spektrum USB Link V1.1.2 Horzion-20250909"
• 4) Scroll down and click Spektrum USB Link with the red icon.
• 5) Open the small front panel of the Promoto and connect the loose cable from the controller to the SPMXCA200 SMART ESC Programming Box V2. Connect the box to your PC, laptop, or tablet using a USB cable.
• 6) Now, in the opened program click Firmware Update and check if you have the latest firmware by comparing Firmware Version with Available Versions.
• 7) If not, click Upgrade in the top right corner and let the program perform the update.
• 8) When it's finished, click Send settings to ESC.
• 9) Now turn on your Promoto and open the program via the shortcut and click the "Spektrum USB Link" line. This will open the Spektrum USB Link V1.12 program.

To do this, simply click the Upgrade button and the installation will begin. Click OK when the installation is complete.

IMPORTANT SETTINGS!

Click on Basic in the left menu. You'll now see all the basic settings for your controller.

1) One of the most important settings is the controller's maximum brake, which is set to 62.5% by default. If this is too low and you want more maximum brake on the rear wheel, you can increase it to 75%.
2) Change the BEC voltage from 6.0 volts to 7.4 volts.

Once you've finished making the settings, click Apply to save them to your controller.

Now you've equipped your Promoto with the latest firmware, which gives you more power, a longer battery time, and the interaction between the controller and the built-in gyro has also been improved. Making everything a bit more controllable and giving you even more fun ;-).
